Scholarships

Every year in the Spring, the Alabama Chapter of the American Public Works Association, in keeping with its objectives, will award up to three $2000 scholarships. Scholarships are presented to deserving students striving to complete educational requirements for a career path in public works.

These scholarships are provided for basic degree work only, and are not available for post-graduate academic pursuits. Degrees or Majors in a Public Works related field, Public Administration, Civil or Environmental Engineering, or Forestry are examples of related fields of study. These may be shown by the applicant as provided for on the form. Career objectives may be in the public or private sector, but in either case must be associated directly or indirectly with public works matters or agencies.
