New to the process? Taking over for someone else? This session will walk you through the essentials of leading your agency through a successful accreditation journey.

After completing this workshop, participants will be better able to:

  1. Describe the purpose and value of accreditation within public works.
  2. Differentiate between full substantial, partial, and noncompliance practices.
  3. Explain to fellow staff members how to organize and document evidence of full compliance effectively.
  4. Analyze gaps in compliance and practice areas needing further improvement.

The workshop provides an overview of the Public Works Management Practices Manual, the self-assessment software, and resources that can help you accomplish your accreditation goals.

This course is approximately three (3) hours long and is eligible for .3 CEU credits upon completion.
