• On Thursday night, the “Port Royal Boil” family dinner and kids activities will be held offsite at The Event Center at The Wharf in Orange Beach from 6-8 PM.

• The 1/2-day Younger Member Track will return again this year to complete the third and final portion of the training. The final date and details are still being finalized.

1/2-Day Younger Member Track

A 1/2-day Younger Member Track will return again this year! Hosted by the ASCE Mobile Branch Younger Member Group, this track is open to attendees who are age 35 and younger. Conference attendees are welcome to join at no additional cost. For area Younger Members that only want to attend this session without registering for the entire conference, a separate $35 registration fee is required. The YM Track will start with the third and final ASCE Professional Skills Series session moderated by Dr. Eric Steward from the University of South Alabama, and will be followed by a Roundtable Discussion with multiple ASCE/APWA industry professionals. Please join us for the 2024 Summer Meeting of the Alabama Section of ASCE and Alabama Chapter of APWA! We are returning to the enjoyable and family friendly Perdido Beach Resort for another great 3-day conference at the beach. The conference will open with lunch on Wednesday and end on Friday by lunch. We have some exciting additions to the sponsor and exhibitor packages along with expanded social activities to ensure everyone has a great time interacting with the exhibitors and attendees from both organizations.

  The guest room block at the Perdido Beach Resort is FULL. If you would still like to try to make accommodations to stay at the resort, we suggest you call them directly to make reservations. For your convenience, we have secured an overflow room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach. Group rates apply only to specific room block and will be made available July 9 through July 13, 2024. Cutoff Date: The Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach will accept reservations, provided there are available rooms until Sunday, June 9, 2024, at which time any unreserved rooms will be released into general availability. The group rate will no longer be available after the cutoff date. Individual Cancellations: For individual cancellations made less than 72 hours, one (1) night’s room and tax will be charged to the guarantee method on file. Should you depart early prior to the departure date confirmed for any reason, the hotel may impose an early departure fee of one (1) night’s room and tax.
